its gonna be a bit depressing when the last overlord official content is released, this series was with me for a long time and seeing it go is gonna be a bit sad, i do hope a similar anime/light novel pops up after it. as i enjoy the concept of an evil protagonist.
I really enjoyed Overlord as an anime, but I would say the light novel is even better. Due to the format more vital information is conveyed in the light novel. Specifically there is much more back-story to the other game guild members of Ainz Ooal Gown, and more detail given to the game world Momonga finds himself in.
A proper explanation will spoil the story for you. If you really want to know: Ainz decides to fake his death during his "fight" with Jaldabaoth with the explanation to the Guardians that he wants to see how they'd handle a situation wherein he really does get killed by an unknown enemy.

I'm a huge fan of overlord and own both the anime limited editions and the light novels and I have mixed feelings on this volume so bare with me 1. The good the elf King is a pos that you want Ainz to get rid of good introduction to a side villain problem is he's only in the volume for a few pages won't see him again till the next volume.
